Investing in early learning programs that offer health components can boot education , health and economic outcomes- James Heckman
Children are the future of a nation. For an emerging country like India, early development of children holds the key to the progress of the nation itself, and their education is the cornerstone of this progress. But education for children cannot be achieved without ensuring the welfare of the family – a child can go to school regularly only when the family is empowered; the child gets proper nutrition; the family has decent livelihood opportunities and a steady income.
Realizing this, Finer World Foundation, has adopted an approach to work in the corridors of education, which addresses the needs of children, their families and the larger community.
Parenting and education are important public health issues facing our society. We can carve a better future by enabling parents and educators to master the basic, staying abreast with the latest research, learning how to engage with children meaningfully, gaining confidence by getting clarity and helping them become part of a support network.
